The Pulse Alloy crankset is a lightweight MTB crankset designed for XC and Trail use. It features forged arms with a direct mount CNC chainring making it stiff, light and durable.
TUNE YOUR RATIO
The Pulse Alloy crank uses a direct mount chainring which is ultralight (65g 30T) and highly adaptable. This crank comes standard with a 32T narrow/wide single chainring, the chainring can be swopped out with other chainring sizes as well as a 2x chainring cluster should you want to run gears up front.
A CNC direct mount chainring ensures that weight is kept to a minimum. The 7075 T6 alloy makes the chainring durable and ensures that it is flex-free under pedalling load.
The Pulse crank uses a self extracting nut on the non drive side. This means the crank can simply be installed and removed using only an 8mm allen key. This is great for fast chainring changes and BB maintenance.
The forged 6061 T6 arms are light weight by using strategically placed cut aways to remove unnecessary material. These cranks are safety tested to EN and ISO standards to ensure that stiffness levels are kept as high as possible to meet the demands of modern mountain biking.
The Pulse Crankset uses a relatively narrow Q Factor of 166mm. This is a good balance for pedalling efficiency that does not cause frame interference due to excessively tight dimensions.
